Also, it put forward the settings for more than Windows like Linux and Mac OS. See Handbrake best settings for DVD to MP4 ripping> WinX DVD Ripper. It’s also the efficient freeware that supports the DVD to digital ripping proficiently.
Ive been making a lot of my encodes lately from Blu-ray remux’s making them x264 so it’s compatible with all my devices. And always 1080p. I don’t add any filters, FPS is same as source, constant quality RF normally 16-18, preset veryslow, profile is high, and level 4.2. This normally makes a 40gb remux around 10-12gb. But can anyone help me to decipher what tune, profile, and level actually is? Like will going above 4.2 yield a higher quality? I don’t mind a long encode (over 30hrs) I just want remux “like” quality with a .25-.4 file size of the original. Thanks!
